Bed and Breakfast Cascina Cin Cin

The place was very dirty. The floors seemed to have been washed, but the other surfaces felt greasy and sticky, and ants were all over the kitchen cupboards. There were no cleaning supplies. The sheets we were given on arrival were covered in yellow stains and smelled awful. The beds were very old, hard, and damp. We got itchy, and our son, who is sensitive because of allergies, developed a bad cough after sleeping there. The washing machine didn't work and wouldn't spin. Drying laundry was difficult: the dogs would pee on it outside, and without a working machine the clothes were too wet to dry indoors. There were exposed electrical sockets in the children's room. Rustic is one thing, but using duct tape to fix things is another. I tried to show the host the ants, the clogged drain and the dirt, and to demonstrate that the washing machine wasn't working. She didn't want to look, saying nobody else had ever complained. The animals also seemed to be in very poor condition. One dog had a bad eye infection, and another could barely walk and seemed to be in a lot of pain. Watch the video and judge for yourself. Guests are required to take their garbage to the nearest city and dump it illegally in public bins. We thought we'd found a great deal, but even with a 60% discount for long stays it wasn't worth it. We left with help from Airbnb AirCover.

Right among the Gavi Vineyards and close to Novi Ligure, this is a very convenient spot. Fiammetta is a wonderful host, and the place feels like a little paradise, full of peace and tranquility.
