The owners are glad to tell you about their region and farm, and it’s such a peaceful place, surrounded by nature at 600m, which is a welcome escape when it’s over 30°C. There’s a lovely pool for children, and Castelsardo and Sassari are both 30 minutes away. We paid €45 per person per night for dinner and breakfast, which is unbeatable value. The room was simple but comfortable, with a private bathroom, and dinner was hearty and delicious. We speak Italian, but do say hello to the owner, who also speaks French, English, and German. Highly recommended.
