Residence L'Agave

The beach and supermarket are close by, which was convenient. The apartment itself was poor value for the price. We were four friends staying for a week in August, and the sheets were stained with too few towels for all of us. There was no washing machine, which really matters for a summer week. On arrival the place hadn’t been cleaned properly and smelled nauseatingly of food. The agency quickly sent cleaners after we called, but the refrigerator still smelled so strongly that we couldn’t use it. We had to make do with a mini-fridge for the whole week.

The area was very quiet, with a supermarket just a few meters away and beaches and shops a short walk from the apartment. It was easy to reach by car, and there was plenty of paid parking nearby at €5 per day, as well as some free spaces. Apartment 8 was a cozy, clean two-room ground-floor place, with a spacious bedroom and a large living room with kitchen. It had working air conditioning in the living room, two refrigerators, a washing machine, and dishes and cutlery, but no Wi-Fi, poor internet signal, and a TV without an antenna. Linens and towels cost extra, €5 for a set, and had to be requested; towels weren’t provided otherwise. A cot and high chair were also available on request for an extra charge. The small outdoor area was untidy, and ants were constantly crawling above the front door, though none got inside. I’d recommend it overall, shame about the bad weather.

We stayed in August 2018, and the accommodation was filthy and disgusting. Check-in in Sirolo was awful, and nobody had told me by email, despite what those four charlatans claim. We went to Sardinia this year and spent half as much for a perfect holiday in paradise. Would I stay with you again? Not even if you paid me ;)

The service was really good, though the apartments felt quite dated and could use more attention to detail. There were five of us, and one bed was missing.
