Gasthaus Bachmann

The staff were so friendly and made me feel comfortable. It's also handy for hiking trails and the cable car, just a few minutes away by car. I stayed in a clean, simple but welcoming double room with a private bathroom and a balcony facing the Dolomites. Breakfast had a good range, and dinner was excellent. The menu is fixed, but the owners were kind and willing to make changes for me. I'm vegetarian, and although the main course was often meat, I could fill up on the other choices. A beautiful, green and welcoming place. Recommended!

Breakfast came with a lovely surprise: we spotted a deer through the dining room window. The food is traditional and has a homely feel, and the stay is very good value. The location is easy to get to and surrounded by greenery. The owners are genuinely kind and helpful, and courtesy and simplicity are what stand out here. If you're after luxury, this may not be for you, but the simple approach has everything we needed. Highly recommended!

It's quiet, with beautiful views, and seems well suited to families or anyone wanting peace and quiet. The owners are friendly and helpful, and breakfast and meals were good and filling. The building fits right in with the mountains around it. It's an affordable hotel, but the quality is there. My room had no TV, which I especially missed after dinner, though that's a small thing and just my personal preference. I'll definitely return next summer. Thanks!
