The owner was very kind, and I had a lovely three-day stay. It’s a beautiful spot, ideal if you enjoy the countryside and a quiet setting.

I was very satisfied with my stay in this holiday home 🏡. It’s a lovely, peaceful place, and the owner was helpful and good. I hope to come back one day.

The restaurant was excellent when we went with a friend this time, booking through The Fork, and the service was attentive. I also have little to say about the room itself, though the shower could have been cleaner and the bathroom lights are behind the door instead of above the mirror. What disappointed me was the bill. We’d stayed at the B&B twice before and had become fond of it. I knew the prices, and the second time the owner even suggested calling directly for a better rate than Booking, since there’d be no commission. So this time I called and booked for one night for two people, expecting Booking’s price of €53. It was a little higher than usual, but I thought it was still cheaper than the other options. I was surprised to be charged €65 for the night. When I asked why, I was told they couldn’t offer a better price at that time of year. I left without arguing, but the amount didn’t match anything, and Booking.com showed €61 for three people, not two. I’m really sorry to leave this review and was torn about it, but I was disappointed. Best regards.

The place is clean, tidy and spacious, with a rustic, almost spartan feel that fits its countryside setting. The welcome had the same spare quality. What surprised me was how sophisticated the adjoining restaurant was. As a tourist, I’d have preferred more traditional local dishes, which there are plenty of. Still, I enjoyed what I tasted, and you can tell there’s passion in the kitchen.
