Marinella kindly let the two of us have the four-person apartment for the price of a room, since that was the only unit free when I called the day before. The place feels like your grandparents' country house, with simple but clean rooms. Being near the road makes it handy for visiting the lovely nearby towns, though traffic noise could affect your sleep. There are double-glazed windows, but you have to sleep with them shut. One room has air conditioning and the other a fan. I suggest the owners pay closer attention to the towels, which were rough, mismatched and somewhat worn, and the sheets, which had holes from use. Breakfast was good, though a bit more care with the details would help there too. Those are just suggestions. I'm grateful to Marinella and Giancarla for being so lovely and accommodating, and for accepting our little dog.

The garden and fields around Nonno Pio felt wonderfully calming, and the B&B had a warm, intimate feel. The two sisters who run it were lovely and talented. We had delicious local food for breakfast, including homemade desserts. Everything was so clean, rooms and bathroom alike, that even I, a real hygiene fanatic, asked the ladies for cleaning tips. One night was enough to make us want to come back for longer.

The homemade breakfast was a treat, especially the desserts and toast with their own olive oil. The two sisters running the place were genuinely friendly and helpful. Our apartment was roomy, clean and nicely furnished, and the property is well kept among the greenery. They were very accommodating about check-in and checkout, and pets are welcome.

The two lovely women looking after this farmhouse welcomed and pampered us, including with delicious cakes. It's tidy, clean, and surrounded by greenery. We felt very well looked after. Thanks for the hospitality, and we hope to see you again soon ☺️.
