Agriturismo Majore

You’ll want a car to get around to the village centers and beaches, but the drive is worth it for this peaceful, charming property. We stayed with friends in August and had such a lovely time. Giuzi and her family were sweet, kind, and always ready to help, and made us feel at home right away. Breakfast was amazing, and they were supportive whenever we needed anything. We’d definitely love to come back.

The garden is so calming, the rooms were comfortable, and the host was amazing. We spent 4 nights here, and it’s one of the best Agriturismo stays I’ve had in Italy. Breakfast was different each morning, with lots of traditional Sardinian pastries. Thank you, Giusy and Fabrizio, for your hospitality. We’ll come again.

This is a family-run place, and the owners were always willing to help make our stay in Sardinia special. Breakfast had plenty of choices, including freshly made local delicacies. You do need a car to get here, though it’s close to some lovely beaches like Fino Beach. We stayed at Agriturismo Majore Olbia recently and truly enjoyed it. I’d strongly recommend it and would love to stay again if I return to Sardinia.

Once we got into the room, it was clear that for the high price it lacked a lot of equipment and comfort, especially the bed. We were even afraid to go down for our prepaid breakfast the next morning in case we ran into the same woman again. The arrival was the worst I’ve had at any B&B or hotel. We were half an hour later than the ETA we’d given a month earlier, though we’d called during the day to say we’d be a little late. For some unknown reason, the proprietor, a young local woman, was furious. She left us waiting 20 minutes outside the locked gate, then showed up and said she was cancelling our fully paid booking. We were tired, night was falling, and we had nowhere else to stay, so we had to beg before she finally gave us the key. Unbelievable. Don’t risk staying there. There are plenty of other nice places around, as long as it’s not 8 pm.
