Giovanna was a wonderful host, always helpful and friendly, with useful tips on what to see and do. She even suggested which beaches to pick depending on the wind that day. Breakfast was generous and varied, with warm pastries and cakes. The comfortable rooms have private entrances and traditional local furnishings. The farmhouse is a peaceful countryside oasis a few kilometers from Arzachena, well placed for trips inland or to the east and north coasts. Prices are fair for the area, and I’d definitely recommend considering a stay.

Giovanna is welcoming and friendly, and her advice and suggestions are genuinely useful. She makes a different special cake each day and serves traditional local products. The traditional stazzo, with its separate rural buildings, has a beautifully kept green setting that feels a world away, even though the coast and beaches are close by.

Giovanna gave us such a warm welcome and did everything she could to make the four nights enjoyable. We loved her good humor, helpfulness and recommendations for beaches and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious, served in the adjoining house, with her cakes and homemade jams, plus cheese and cured meats from her husband Paolo's farm. The family are charming and friendly, and this is a relaxed, unpretentious place we’d happily return to and keep in our address book and hearts. The Gallura-style accommodation was clean and practical, with peaceful, well-kept grounds and sun loungers in the shade of large olive trees. It’s a great base for Costa Smeralda, nearby beaches and archaeological sites, and the charming town of Arzachena has a good range of restaurants.
