I’m still shocked by how the stay ended. I was trying to check out on time after being unable to shower, and was verbally abused and blocked from leaving while a man demanded payment for the damage. I was willing to leave disappointed about the shower, but that confrontation made things much worse. The accommodation itself was lovely, but during my final hour I turned on the shower and the screw and faucet came right out of the wall. I told the owners, who took about 30 minutes to respond. By then I needed to pack and leave. Someone arrived as I was going, but couldn’t fix it because the screw was completely loose and disconnected from the water supply. He blamed me for breaking it, though I’d only wanted to take a shower. I certainly wasn’t breaking anything! I’m hoping Expedia will give me some kind of refund for the service I paid for but didn’t receive. If that happens, I’d be happy to amend this review. For now, it’s a disappointing end to my holiday.

I booked at the last minute and was really glad I chose this place. The room was clean, and getting there late was fine since the street was reasonably well lit. It’s convenient for a bus line from the airport, and the passcode check-in was simple with clear instructions. I found the best rate by booking through the Bullerjanos website directly. I’d stay again without hesitation.

The room was nice, and the location is great. Self-service check-in was easy and convenient.
