Getting around was difficult, with buses and trains each running only four times a day, though that's not the owner's fault. The large garden was lovely, and the questions we had about heating and the beds were sorted out easily. In the kitchen, there weren't enough utensils: no bowls and very few knives, for instance. The stove worked only intermittently, and hot water, up to 35°C at most, took several minutes to arrive. Maybe that's just how it is in Sardinia.
