Double A Luxury Room

Olbia's city center is only a 5min walk away, and the location is good value. The building looks unassuming outside, but inside the rooms are modern, clean, and well equipped. The walls are thin, though, so you can hear people coming through the doors of what I think are 3 to 5 rooms in the house. Also, skip the coffee there, it costs more than it does outside.

You're right by the center, just 2 mins away, and the location is excellent for a short stay of a day or two. Parking is close, a stone's throw away, but NOT on the premises. The room is nice and everything works, though we never worked out how to open the blinds. With the window open there's no privacy, and there's nowhere to hang a swimsuit or beach towel. Finding your room in the block can also be tricky if you arrive at night.

In March, I found this stylish, well-equipped room right in central Olbia for a very affordable price. The bed was comfortable, the shower had good pressure, and there was a minibar and Nespresso machine. Recommended.

I didn't actually sleep at Double A Rooms, which makes this hard to rate. We had a voucher from last year and booked directly by email this time. They confirmed the reservation and I even checked in online, but when we arrived, we were told they'd deleted it because I hadn't replied to an email requesting my credit card details. It turned out they'd sent that email to themselves. After a 15 hour journey, we got there at 10 pm and found our booking cancelled with no room available. They did manage to find us another room on the other side of the city centre, which was impressive, especially in the middle of the night. Hats off for the effort, 10/10 for that. Still, I'm giving the place 3 stars because the missing room was their fault, the replacement was inferior to what we'd booked, and most importantly, they didn't even apologise. If you book by email, double check they've got all your details, and maybe call before you arrive.
