The people working here are lovely and helpful, and the hotel and rooms have a cute, clean, cozy design. Our room did smell of old cigarettes, though. Breakfast was basic, and the eggs, cheese and meat were the worst I ate in all Sardinia. Hope things get better for this hotel!

I waited in the heat for more than an hour, then at 4pm a woman finally showed up to start work. She came across as arrogant. I won’t be staying in Hotel Moderno, now or ever, especially after reading about the disgusting rooms and meeting the horrible staff. The reception had closed at noon without any notice. Guests are told to check in after 2pm, but then nobody was there, the front door was locked, and no one answered the phone. UNBELIEVEABLE!

Small, pleasant hotel, and it was clean. The staff were nice, and the bus stop is 100 meters away, with connections to town and the airport. It’s a little far from the town center. Breakfast wasn’t very good, though the coffee was excellent, a very good expresso.

A rich buffet breakfast, garage and Wi-Fi are included. It’s a 10mins walk from the city centre and only 20 mind from the most beautiful beaches. Families, backpackers, businessmen and couples looking for a romantic break all seemed welcome here. Highly recommended for any kind of traveller.

We got in later than planned, and the receptionist welcomed us warmly. The room was very clean, and breakfast the next morning was nice. I’d recommend it for a short stay.
