In Campagna da Nino

There's plenty of room to park at least three cars, probably more. The house is tucked away in the forest, and everything was very clean. The bed was good, and there's air conditioning. The owner and his wife recommended a seafood restaurant that turned out to be fantastic. You also get space in the fridge, plus cutlery, dishes and glasses or cups if you need them. We'd come back!

We even spotted some wild pigs on the drive back after dinner. The place itself is a great spot, modern, clean and air-conditioned. The host was lovely and did whatever he could to make sure we had a good stay.

We expected to rent an apartment for €120 a night, but were given a room and had to share it with another couple. The property is run-down, and the shared areas were filthy. There's no reception or parking, despite the description saying otherwise. Dogs barked through the night, and getting there in an ordinary car is nearly impossible without four-wheel drive, especially when it's raining.

The port is only about ten minutes away, so this worked well for our last night before leaving. Raimondo greeted us warmly as soon as we arrived, and he was very friendly. We stayed just one night, but had a really nice time. The room and en suite bathroom were cute and comfortable, and the shared areas felt tidy and welcoming. We could also relax on the veranda, where lots of sweet, cuddly cats came by. I'll keep it in mind for another trip.
