Essenza Hotel

We spent our days exploring Sardinia and mainly needed a clean place to sleep, so the central location suited us perfectly. The room and hotel were both clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Gabrielle was especially lovely. We stayed three nights and I'd recommend it to anyone planning to be out during the day and come back to rest.

The rooms were quiet, if pretty basic, and breakfast was the best part. The women in the breakfast room even sang along to '90s pop ballads. It's not a bad hotel, but I don't think it earns a four-star rating.

The reception team were warm and helpful throughout. They sorted out taxis and helped with our luggage, along with a number of other things. Really good service.

The people working here made our two-night visit feel special. Reception were lovely, and the women preparing breakfast were so cheerful, friendly, and attentive that their good mood rubbed off on us. When they realized we were leaving that day, they even gave us two croissants to take along. We'd never had that happen before and wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you for such a happy experience, please keep being yourselves! Breakfast had lots to choose from: bread, meat, cheese, vegetables, yogurt, museli, cake, vitamin drinks, and coffee. The blood orange drink is worth trying. The omelette was fantastic, and the scrambled eggs were really good too. We liked the coffee options. The rooms were modern and well prepared, and we had nothing to complain about. We'd gladly come back again. The hotel itself is good, but the people and service were what really stood out.
