La Casa Di Alice Villa

We spent lots of time enjoying the lovely pool and the landscape around it. Charlie and Dobby are adorable dogs, too. We rented the small house at Casa di Alice for two weeks in July 2023, our first trip to Sardinia, and had a fantastic holiday. Luca was easy to reach from booking through the end of the stay, replied promptly, and gave us useful tips. The house had everything we needed. We’ll definitely come back!

The house was clean and beautiful, and having three bathrooms, one for each room, was much appreciated. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the pool was perfect for the days we decided to stay in instead of going to the beach.

Our girls especially loved the two very friendly dogs, they were the highlight for them! The pool is shared with the villa, which was fine, and we were usually there on our own. The dependence sits by itself on a very large property. It was charming, clearly made with care, clean, and fully equipped. Luca was a great, friendly host and gave us lots of suggestions for beaches, restaurants, and more. We had a great time and would really love to come back :)

If you’re looking for a quiet break, this is a lovely place, especially at night when a clear sky brings out all the stars. The hosts are passionate and know their stuff, and will help you get the holiday you’re hoping for. Sardinia has wonderful climate, sea, and nature, and Gallura is one of its most beautiful areas. From here, you can reach beaches like Le saline, Marinella, Pittulongu, del Principe, and my favorite, Luscia Ruja. You can also visit Nuoro, Sassari, and islands like la Maddalena or Tavolara, or see Orgosolo, where street art is a way of talking to people. I first came in March 2018, when the villa was nearly finished, the garden wasn’t yet as gorgeous as it is now, and the swimming pool was still only in Francesca and Luca's plans. Charlie was the only king dog on the hill then. The little yellow cottage was their home, and they hosted my husband and me for a whole week. I’m a close friend of Francesca and have always known she has an unbelievable eye for interior design, but I couldn’t imagine the final result until I saw it in October 2020.
