The staff were so kind and helpful, and the pool and views were great. I ended up here by chance after the yacht I’d booked was overbooked. It’s a huge resort with decent rooms at a good price. They have a bit of a college dorm feel, but in a charming way. I had a really pleasant stay and would recommend it, especially for families.
The best part for us was the location, high on the mountain, with beautiful views of the sea and stars both day and night. It’s about 10 minutes from the Emerald cost, and there’s free parking. We had a wonderful time with three kids, five of us in total, though this wouldn’t be my first choice and we wouldn’t stay longer than five days. If you come, rent a car, pay to use the pool because it’s worth it, and be ready for the steps up to the apartment. There are no lifts, so you need to be fit. The buildings are very old but feel safe. Everything was clean, though worn out. You have to pay extra for clean bed linen, which was a surprise, and the mattresses seemed so old that I could feel the springs. There are endless steps. Reception closes after 8 pm and during lunch, so keep those hours in mind if you need help. The pool is lovely, but you have to pay to use it. Pool bedding and tourist tax also added €270 on top of our reservation. Would I go back? Yes, as long as it was for no more than five days. This is my honest opinion. If you know what to expect, you can have a good time. Thanks for reading.
We had to cancel at 11 pm and find somewhere else. The nightly rate looked cheap, but there was a €70 cleaning fee and they also tried to charge us €30 for checking in late. The place had a strange, cultish feel, like Lord Farquaad’s castle, and gave me the impression of a time-share scam. I’d be smarter than I was and avoid booking here.
The village has two restaurants, a mini market that isn’t too expensive, and a pool. It seems geared toward families with children up to 15. I stayed for two weeks in a shared property apartment. It was small, but furnished well. The main thing missing was air conditioning. There was only a rather unstable ceiling fan.
You’re quite limited in where you can go without a car, though the location itself is nice. The rooms are decent, just a bit cramped. They also charge €75 per person for linen and some other necessary things without mentioning it anywhere. It feels like a money grab, even though the total cost isn’t too high.
