Palazzo Beddoro

The town was exactly what we hoped for, with cafes around the Piazza, little winding lanes and shops to browse. Our room was unusually spacious by European standards, very clean and comfortable, with one window facing the church and another looking toward the rugged mountains. Tatiana and Federico were wonderful hosts throughout. We arrived in Olbia in the evening, delayed by luggage the airline had left behind, and reached San Pantaleo later than planned. They listened to our tale and brought us wine to help us switch into vacation mode. They also found us a late-opening restaurant with great food. The next day they pointed us to shops for toothbrushes and other essentials while we waited for our bags, then sent us to a lovely beach about 13 minutes away. I’d give the place seven stars out of five if that were possible.
