The arrival was harder than it needed to be since nobody met us in person at check-in. We also struggled to sort the rubbish because the instructions about local waste rules weren't clear. Communication with the host, Your Local Expert / Alessandra, was usually poor, with slow replies and a failure to follow the contract terms. The house itself fell short of what the listing promised: during ordinary use the toilet, sun loungers, and doors that stuck all had problems. We also hadn't been clearly told that one toilet was in a separate building. The stay wasn't as smooth as we'd hoped.

The village is charming and peaceful, and the farmhouse is only a few minutes from Orosei and its nearest beaches. It also worked well as a base for finding different beaches and coves each day. We were eight people there for 15 days in August, and the large, clean, well-kept house suited us wonderfully. We spent every meal on the beautiful, spacious terrace, with its big table, chairs, loungers, and outdoor shower. It stayed breezy, which was especially welcome in mid-August. The kitchen had what we needed, the two bathrooms looked new and lovely, and every bedroom had air conditioning. There was room for three cars in the courtyard, with two spots shaded. Five stars, deserved.

I went with my wife in mid-September and found the house spotless and equipped with everything we needed. The furnishings have been thought through with great care, and the place could meet the needs of anyone choosing to spend a holiday there.

The village is very quiet, and the sea is about ten minutes away. The home is functional and high quality, with a strong focus on the environment through waste recycling. When we needed something, the response was prompt.
