I can't believe this is only 1* on bookings.com. The room was lovely, with a decent shower, comfortable bed and pillows, and it was quiet. Friendly staff, and close to bus stops.

A very clean budget hotel with a bar attached. Breakfast is included, and lunch and dinner are available. The room had a TV and AC. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and there's a bus stop outside for trips to and from the station and around the area.

The clean, decent rooms and the welcoming staff were the good parts of our one night stay. But this is only worth considering if you need a cheap room nearby, because the price is what makes it acceptable. We were told there would be AC when booking, but the hotel had cut it off because of Covid. It was 35°C outside, and their noisy fan couldn't make up for it, so sleeping properly was impossible. This was the first time we'd heard that during our 3 week trip in Italy. They should have told us before we booked. The location wasn't great either, a little outside Orbetello center in a charmless area.
