La Posta di Torrenova

The service was outstanding and the food was amazing. Such a delightful place!

We also stayed at the hotel and felt right at home, thanks to the welcoming atmosphere, well-kept rooms, and kind, helpful staff. Dinner was excellent. The clam pasta was rich and creamy, fragrant with the sea, and made with the freshest clams. I could have finished it and ordered another straight away. The fried cod was crispy outside and tender and flavorful inside, light and not greasy, just as it should be. We’ll definitely return.

The owner's sister welcomed us very warmly during our three-day stay. The location is right on the main road, and the room felt quite dated, with a heavily calcified shower. The owner was unfriendly and didn’t acknowledge us at all for those three days. On Sunday at lunchtime, he drank with his employees and then lay drunk on a lounger outside our room. The sister wasn’t there. Breakfast was another shock: at €220 a night, you only get one coffee, and have to pay for anything else. No one mentioned that beforehand. Unacceptable.

We were just passing through when we decided to stop for dinner. It’s a charming, family-friendly place serving traditional local dishes. The pici all'aglione and tagliata were fantastic, clearly made by a very experienced chef. The host and wait staff were excellent.
