Residence with private beach in Talamone

A great base for visiting the Maremma Regional Park, Argentario, Orbetello, and Giglio island.

There are plenty of activities for kids, several playgrounds, and a game room with foosball and arcade machines. The campsite also has a restaurant, a mini market, and multiple places to stay. Its terraced setting is beautiful, and the pools are a plus, though one of the two deeper ones was closed during our visit. There's also a shallow pool for children. The facilities are getting old, and the restaurant could be better. The campsite beach was the worst part. You can get beach service, have a drink at the bar, or rent a boat or pedal boat, but the water is shallow and smells bad, probably because of all the seaweed on the bottom. It got stuck in our son's foot and cut him. Kitesurfers make it practically impossible to swim, even in the marked swimming area where the water barely reaches your knees. The only way down to the water is a staircase from the pier. Gianella, a beautiful sandy beach, is about a 15-minute drive away.

We spent one night here in a motorhome for 31€, and there's a deal for a two-night stay. It's one of the most beautiful campsites we've visited, surrounded by woods but still close to the sea. The place is clean and well equipped, with two pools, a supermarket, bar, restaurant, toilets, showers, and washing machines. All the information is on their website, and they recommend their bike rental service. It can get a little noisy at night. That didn't bother us, so for us it could be an ideal holiday spot.

We had another wonderful stay with our family this year, from 7th to 14th September 2025. At first the children were sad that last year's animazione ladies, Fragolina and Nicole, weren't there, but meeting Antonella, Kaira, and Alberto soon made them super happy. They had loads of fun and said this year's animazione was super great. Special greetings to Antonella, Kaira, and Alberto, who were super, super great. The year before, my husband, our two children aged 7 and 9, and I spent a week at comfort michelangelo. We had such a beautiful time, and the kids loved all the fun. The swimming pool and beach were so nice, and Animazione was top. My daughter Elisabetta sends greetings again to Fragolina and Nicole. All the staff are friendly, and we'll definitely come back next year.
