Marco made me feel more like a friend than a guest, and that warmth made this stay exceed my expectations. He’d kept in touch on WhatsApp and was waiting when I arrived, welcomed me, showed me the room, and talked me through local attractions, food and traditions. I was travelling alone around Sardinia by public transport and came from Nuoro on an ARST bus, about half an hour. The stop is an easy three-minute walk away. My room was bright, clean and spacious, with a comfortable double bed, ensuite shower and terrace. The blackout shutters made afternoon naps possible. There’s also a shared kitchen, living and dining space, with a bean-to-cup espresso machine and excellent beans. Help yourself to as much coffee as you like. Orgosolo is quiet, though sometimes people race cars or motorbikes elsewhere in town. It was peaceful at the accommodation and I slept well. A small grocery shop is next door, and farther down the road a friendly man sells fresh sandwiches with local cheese from a van. Restaurants and a cafe are less than five minutes away on foot, near the murals. I feel lucky I chose this place and met Marco, a kind, respected gentleman in this small mountain community in the Supramomte.

B&B Baroi was one of our favourite stops on vacation. It felt warm and cosy, with thoughtful touches everywhere that made it easy to feel at home. There’s a coffee-grinding espresso machine, a heated towel rack, and beautifully renovated modern rooms. Everything was wonderful, and the host was gracious and kind.

Marco was the biggest bonus: such a warm, kind person and an excellent host. We liked the village and felt so comfortable in the apartment that one night turned into three. It’s newly renovated with great taste, quality materials and careful details. The bedroom and bathroom are both spacious, and there’s plenty of privacy. The kitchen and living room are shared, but with only two rooms and little traffic, it felt as if we had a whole apartment for the price of a room. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the coffee is amazing.

Marco and the B&B made the end of our trip feel special. He was a fantastic, attentive host. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the beds very comfortable. We had no trouble cooking dinner. Thanks so much, Marco.

Marco was friendly and attentive to what guests need. The recently renovated apartment is fully equipped, centrally located, and both bedrooms have their own bathrooms.
