8/10
For the price, this is a very good town hotel, with free parking and a small but pleasant pool. It’s about an 8-minute walk to the centre. The room had a comfortable bed, air con, a tea and coffee maker, and a good shower. Breakfast was good, though the coffee machine wasn’t great. There’s nowhere to put anything in the shower, so shelves would help.

The rooms are a little dated, but very clean, and the staff are lovely, especially housekeeping and the receptionist. The pool is small and spotless. With a supermarket and pharmacy across the street, and shops, bars and restaurants nearby, it’s an easy walk of about two minutes to the city centre. A good base for exploring the west coast beaches, including Mari Ermi, Sa Mesa Longa, Sinis and Is Arutas.

The staff were always kind and ready to help, and the hotel was well placed for touring Oristano and the surrounding areas. Our room was clean and nice, though a bit small for a couple and in need of updating.

The hotel may do for one night, but I can’t see it as a four-star place. The interior is old and quite primitive, and the surroundings aren’t appealing. It also feels too far from both the old town and the beach. The staff were polite and helpful sometimes. Wi-Fi was good, and breakfast was alright. Three stars is the most I’d give it.

Breakfast was nice, and we had a wonderful experience.
