We had dinner at Sa Conca Ruia and loved the lovely terrace and sea view. The staff were extremely nice and clearly proud of their work. For dessert, the homemade gianduia and honey ice cream was absolutely delicious. The set menu began with cheeses and cold meats, grilled vegetables, aubergine parmigiana and crunchy pane carasau. Then came culurgiones and ravioli with ricotta and herbs in tomato sauce, with plenty of cheese. The maialino and potatoes were crunchy on the outside and melt in your mouth. A must visit in the area!

Dinner was delicious, and there’s a fantastic view. It’s a set menu, so book in advance. They need to know how many people to prepare food for, and the restaurant doesn’t take walk ins.

The rooms were clean, the beds were good and the wifi worked perfectly. The location was ideal, near Orosei and close to beaches and sights, with a beautiful terrace view across the countryside and mountains. We had such a good time during our stay in Sardinia. Marine, Antonio and his family are warm, modest people, and the atmosphere is relaxed and unstrained. We ate so well, with fresh, handmade authentic Sardinian food, including wonderful ingredients, cheeses and sausages. We’ll definitely come back one day.

We’ll be back. The hosts were kind, the food was good and the terrace has an amazing view. It feels like the countryside, even though the city and some of the nicest beaches are close by.

It’s close to the city, though you’ll need a car. The host was very kind and helpful. You can order a delicious Italian dinner, and there’s a sweet Italian breakfast too.
