Appartamenti Le Ginestre e Gli Oleandri

The apartment itself was fine. The bathroom was its best feature, and the kitchen and terrace were good. If you have a car, it's a great base for exploring the beach area. The bed, though, was extremely hard and uncomfortable, and we could feel the springs. The service left a lot to be desired. Finding the place was a nightmare. The address they gave us led to nowhere, out in the middle of nowhere, and when we arrived during the stated check-in window of 5 to 7 p.m., nobody was there. The Booking.com representative kept asking if we were in the right place but never came. A kind person at a local supermarket helped us locate the owner. Without that person's help, we might still be wandering around looking for the apartment. On top of the agreed price, they charged €40 for cleaning, €10 per person for sheets, and €10 for towels. When we left, the key return point, Hotel Cala Ginespro, was advertised as open all day, but it was closed outside its actual hours, Monday to Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. We needed to reach Cagliari by 10 a.m., but that schedule meant we arrived at 11.
