The property is beautiful and right next to the beach, but we didn’t feel welcome. We arrived at 7pm looking for a room and paid 40eur more than the online price. Breakfast was advertised for 8:30-9:30; when we came down at 9:20, we were immediately told to hurry because she had rooms to clean and needed to get on with her day. No one told us the checkout time, so we assumed the standard 11am, but at 10:15 someone knocked and said we had to leave. We hadn’t even been there 12 hours and felt rushed on checkout. Is that hospitality for a bed & breakfast? The breakfast wasn’t good either, and we had to make our own eggs.

We had such a pleasant stay thanks to the hosts, who were wonderful. The B&B has a lovely garden, a small private beach, and clean, beautiful rooms. Breakfast had tasty cakes and lots of choices, and the view across the garden to the sea is astonishing. It’s a fantastic spot for a relaxed, unusual holiday. We’re already looking forward to coming back to this little corner of paradise and seeing the hosts again. A super experience.

The rooms were comfortable and super clean, and the house and grounds are beautiful, right by the sea and surrounded by lovely nature. The hosts are incredibly friendly and breakfast was the best. This is a really special place, and we’d love to come back. 100% recommend!

Claudia and Rina (Catharina) really are hosts at heart. They cared so much about us as people and about how our stay at their lovely B&B was going. We liked our time at Giglio di Mare very much. It’s a lovely place!

Catarina is friendly and runs a beautiful B&B in a lovely garden, and pets are welcome too. Breakfast was good. The location makes it easy to get to nice beaches, and nearby Orosei has a few nice restaurants.
