Holiday Residence Rifugio

We chose HHR as our vacation base and were very happy with it. The Winkler family offered helpful suggestions for day trips and restaurants. We had a little rain and wind, but the stay was memorable. We rented a car and found plenty of interesting archaeological and historic sites to visit, as well as lovely beaches. The location is convenient for walking to groceries, great restaurants, and the marina. Our panorama apartment could sleep up to five and had a magnificent large roof terrace looking over the countryside. It was very well equipped, with everything needed in the kitchen, two large bathrooms, plenty of seating, and comfortable beds. Highly recommended for a couple or a group.

We had the Panorama apartment suite, and it was great for our family. It was fully equipped, almost better than our own place, and spotless like the rest of the residence. We were lucky to have a rooftop terrace with an incredible view, and wished we’d stayed longer. Residence Rifugio looks more like a cool, human-scale hotel, with lovely hosts, and makes a good base for exploring the area. It’s close to the sea, the centre of Orosei, and all the beaches and places to explore. Thanks again to the Winkler’s family. Hope we’ll see you in Paris.

The beds were really comfortable, and the location was peaceful, yet only a few minutes’ walk from a very good supermarket and restaurants. The beach is beautiful and about a 15 minute walk away. Holiday Residence Rifugio is family run, and it’s clear the owners really care. The apartments are spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had our own patio and garden area with a barbecue, sun loungers, and a dining table. Orosei is a great base for exploring the Northern region of Orosei. We’ll definitely be back.

Our Appartement Uva was lovely, with a very clean apartment and kitchen, all the supplies needed for cooking, and the option to sit outside in the green garden. We enjoyed the quiet, the barbecue, and the pool on site after beach days. The beach is very close. We went to Su Barone for its pine forest, which gave our two toddlers great natural shade. Crai supermarket was an easy five-minute walk, and we could also walk into town for restaurants. The location is top. We had an amazing week at HRR in Orosei.
