The standout for me was the restaurant. Chef Salvatore Ticca’s six-course tasting menu was a delicious journey through Sardinian food and traditions, with his own refined touch. I’d especially recommend the Red tuna tartare from Carloforte and sos Culurgiones with summer truffles. For pizza, Giampietro makes a great one in a wood-fired oven, following Napoli tradition and the Iovine's family recipes. I visited Hotel Ristorante Biderosa in early July with friends, after #Shardana and #Iovine's restaurants in Paris pointed us there for their Sardinian Adventrue. It sits beside the State Park of Biderosa, with its sea oasis, pink and white sands, and clear water. This review is about the new management that started in May 2021. It’s a small place with 14 rooms, a large pool, and free parking. The rooms are well equipped, with AC, Sardinian-style decor, and private patios where breakfast is served. The staff were fantastic, and Giovanna went the extra two miles to help us arrange things locally.

The wood-fired pizza was probably the best I’ve had in 5-10 years. Get there early, because it sells out, and for good reason. The restaurant is a reason on its own to come: the chef could hold his own in London, NY, or Paris, but the Sardinian ingredients and inspiration make for a meal that’d be hard to find in NYC. We were there for 3 days/2 nights on vacation with friends from the NY area. It’s a small resort with a gourmet restaurant attached. The place has a distinctly European and Sardinian feel, with privacy in the room and patio but a friendly atmosphere overall. It works well for friends or a couple.

I stayed four nights in July and it’s a great place. The pool and food are good, and it’s right by a beautiful nature reserve and beach. If you have a car, parking outside your room makes things easy.
