Le Residenze del Maria Rosaria - Vico Friuli 1

The rooms impressed me over our three-day stay. They're a little dated, but comfortable, and the A/C worked great. Breakfast was nice, with a variety of pastries, eggs, and fruit. There was private parking for my motorcycle, and a lift to the upper floors. Three things brought my rating down to four stars. The wifi kept dropping in our room, and when it did connect it was very slow. It was patchy by the pool and outdoor patio too. Our windowless bathroom was very dark. Pool hours were odd, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and 3-7 p.m. I assume that's because the outdoor patio is right next to it.

The rooms were a good size and comfortable for four people, with a good balcony. Breakfast was a normal Italian one, and the staff were friendly. Everything went very well, though the parking could be bigger. The only real negative was the occasional bad sewer smell in the bathroom, which the staff couldn't fix while we were there.

Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a highlight: I had a fantastic wood-fired pizza. My room was clean and quiet, with a firm, comfortable bed, and the staff were friendly and helpful; some spoke English. The hotel is right on a main road, with free parking inside the gate. Breakfast was included and filling, and everything was fine. I had a very pleasant stay and would gladly stay another night if I’m in the area again. Thanks. December 26th, 2023

The staff were so helpful when I realized I’d booked the wrong date after arriving. They made a new reservation for me with the same conditions, no problem, and I ended up extending my stay. It’s a cosy, comfortable hotel, and such a good price for the comfort and relaxation. ❤️
