The location is good and quite close to the beach, but I strongly advise against staying here. The owner seems to think he's a "smart guy": after we agreed on a price, he asked for another €50 for cleaning when we arrived to start our holiday. It's only 50 square meters, not a mega villa. There were no sheets, including the ones we were supposed to pay for, no shower mat, and no towels. You'd need to cram everything into your car, and for this price a hotel would be a better choice. The arrival time is after 12:30 PM, and he pushes you to leave by 9:30 AM, which effectively wastes a whole day of your stay. With the heat, he could at least have left a bottle of water in the fridge. The misleading ad also made it seem like we would have the whole house, but it's actually divided into three mini apartments. They're well separated, but this wasn't mentioned during the price discussion.

The place is in the countryside, about 500 meters from the sea at Marina di Osalla beach, and around 4 km from Orosei centre and the supermarkets. Waste is sorted, and the incoming tenant has to dispose of anything left by the previous guest. Villa degli Ulivi e delle Rose is one property split into three apartments. Each has a kitchen and living room, two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a veranda with a table and chairs. They come with mosquito nets, a TV, Wi-Fi, a washing machine, and a clothesline. There's also a parking spot, outdoor shower, deckchairs, and barbecue. Air conditioning costs €3/day. Final cleaning is €50 and has to be done by the owner, with no option for guests to do it themselves. Bed linen and towels can be rented. I'd suggest hosts leave at least a bottle of cold water in the fridge for each new arrival, and maybe some seasonal fruit too, as I've seen at other places. It costs little and goes a long way 😉.

The beach is just a quick walk away, and the setting is peaceful and idyllic. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the house has everything you need for a wonderful holiday. Everything else is within a 10-minute drive.

It's peaceful, green, and close to the beach. The apartment had lots of useful amenities, including a crib and high chair. I'd recommend it to anyone, whether travelling with children or not.
