B&B San Nilo

Francesca was so warm and helpful, which feels unusual these days. The place is tucked into the hills, with a peaceful, serene feel. We stayed there with the family last week; everything was welcoming and clean, and breakfast came with generous servings and delicious tarts. We’ll be back for sure.

We only stayed one night, but had a lovely time. In the historic center of Orsomarso, a beautiful village in the Pollino National Park, B&B San Nilo has what you need for a quiet break. The owner was very kind and helpful, and breakfast featured excellent local artisan products. Highly recommend it.

The area around Orsomarso is full of untouched nature, rivers, and waterfalls, and the village’s narrow lanes feel like a medieval film set when you walk through them in the evening. B&B San Nilo is just as special as the village itself. The owner is wonderfully kind and treats guests to delicious, genuinely flavored breakfast treats. Would I come back? Absolutely, for a couple of weeks at least.

We stumbled across Orsomarso by chance, and it turned out to be a real little treasure, with so many natural sights to explore. The view of the Grotto of the Madonna caught our attention both by day and at night, and the one from the Clock Tower was breathtaking too. B&B San Nilo has been newly renovated and is very welcoming, with all the comforts you need for a peaceful holiday. Francesca takes care of every little detail, is incredibly kind, and can explain things or offer advice whenever guests ask. We’d happily do it again! Carla and Cristian
