Zizzihome Bed and Breakfast

My dog and I loved staying here, and being dog friendly was a big plus. The villa is split into a few areas, as the owner likes to call them, and has a really welcoming, warm feel. It’s in the middle of lovely, all-painted Legro, with the lake and hiking areas only a few minutes away on foot. One of my best B&B stays.

Anna made our weekend stay such a pleasure. The property is peaceful, green, and well placed, just minutes from the beach and excellent restaurants. Our room was cozy and comfortable, with plenty of space, a bathroom, kitchenette with a fridge, and its own entrance. There were lots of thoughtful extras: chilled still and sparkling water, wine, fruit, bathroom toothpaste, and other things you might have forgotten to bring. Breakfast was included and a real treat. I had one of the best apple pies I’ve ever tasted, along with a wide choice of juices, bread, jams, cereals, porridge, and yogurt. A very relaxing stay, highly recommended.

We stayed in the ground-floor “Spazio,” as Mrs. Anna calls it. It had a lovely bedroom, living room, and kitchenette, with everything we could need and then some. Beyond the usual things, there were tissues and a little flashlight by the bed, plus disinfectant, plasters, gauze, sanitary wipes, toothpaste, and plenty of useful bits for absent-minded people who forget things. We even found fresh drinks, still and sparkling water, fruit, and a bottle of wine. The place felt warm and welcoming from outside. Thank you, Mrs. Anna, for being so kind and available, and for the lovely chats.

At zizzihome, even the objects, food, and conversations seem to have a story behind them. Mrs. Anna makes you feel cared for in a home where everything is there for you. I suspect the main difference from her colleagues is that she doesn’t seem to run it for profit. If there’s a bottle of wine in the fridge, it’s there as a favor, not to charge you for it. Set your expectations high and you’ll still be pleasantly surprised by the place. It’s more than a few days away, it’s a unique kind of stay. What are you waiting for? Book now!
