Il Corallo del Salento

We came across B&B "Il corallo del Salento" by chance, and it ended up being just right. Our room was spacious and cool, styled in the Lecce tradition and carefully put together. But what made the stay especially worthwhile was the genuine welcome from the owners, Rocco and Anna. At the generous, delicious breakfast each day, they suggested beaches and coves according to the wind, along with places to eat in the evening. Castro village and the Salento sea are beautiful, of course, but a holiday with Rocco and Anna is a pleasure in its own right. We'd return in a heartbeat if we're back in the area. We loved the house's exposed local stone and its clean, quaint feel. It's in a quiet spot, yet convenient for the beaches. Anna and Rocco are so kind and make you feel at home, always ready to help without hovering. Breakfast was plentiful and served whenever suited us, even close to noon 😅. Prices were modest too. Highly recommended.

We came as a couple with our furry friend, and Anna and Rocco made us feel comfortable right away. The property is lovely, and it's just a stone's throw from Castro. Highly recommended!
