The hotel has a beautiful setting and an elegant, relaxing atmosphere, and the staff are exceptionally attentive. Everyone, from reception to the bar and restaurant, helped make the stay feel personal and special. I’d highly recommend the hotel ski guide, who knows the ski areas around the hotel very well.

That Select Negroni is worth trying, and they made my birthday feel really special with a candle, a note, lotion to take home, and a birthday song. My family first stayed at Hotel Angelo Engel in 2022 for hiking, loved it, and came back this January to ski. It has that cozy, relaxing feel of home, and both the people working there and the other guests were so welcoming and kind. Shoutout to bartenders Nicola and Daniel, servers Manuel, Nando, Sarah, Lenka, Constantine, and so many others. We highly recommend it for a vacation.

The food was a highlight, delicious and clearly made with care, and our room was comfortable and spotless. Everyone on staff was kind, attentive, and ready to help, starting with the warm welcome and the attention to detail throughout our stay at Hotel Angelo Engel. Owner Nils deserves a special mention; his presence and dedication give the place a unique feel. Hospitality and authenticity come together so naturally here. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, and I’ll definitely return.

I loved the spa, and the staff there were just 💋! The nail service seemed pricey, around 100 for a mani-pedi with regular polish, so I wouldn’t recommend getting your nails done there. I felt like a fairy, though. The location is gorgeous and the staff were kind and attentive. Maricela cleaned our room every day, and I really got to know her. SUCH A SWEETHEART! Dinner and breakfast come as a set, with assigned seating and multiple courses. The selection wasn’t bad flavor-wise, but if you’re picky, I might skip the meal package.

The free bus pass came in handy, and the staff helped us arrange e-bikes for a great adventure. Our room was spacious, the food was delicious, and everyone was friendly and helpful. It’s a beautiful hotel with wonderful people running it. We’d definitely return to the Angelo Engel.
