We’d definitely stay again. The location is excellent for the town centre and restaurants, and breakfast had lots of different things, all delicious. The hosts were very friendly at check-in and during breakfast. Candela was keen to help us communicate in English, and Rita always greeted us with a warm smile and lots of enthusiasm. My only complaint is that our bath towels were a bit worn and could use replacing.

The thing that made this hotel memorable was Rita. She was so welcoming, friendly, courteous and helpful, and kindly accommodated us when we were running very late for check-in. She was amazingly kind throughout our stay. Our room was spotless, breakfast was tasty and the location was excellent. We really enjoyed being here and highly recommend the hotel.

You can use the complimentary bus passes and get access to the local spa, sauna and pool. It’s also a quick walk to the town centre. Breakfast was fantastic, with fruit, pickled vegetables, bread, yoghurt and a cereal station, so there was something for everyone. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We could hear a little noise from other rooms, but nothing major.

The view was amazing, and the hotel was right in the centre, close to everything, especially the city center. Breakfast is included and had lots of variety. A great place to stay.

Our hiking leader in the Dolomites, Jeffery, booked seven of us into Fortuna Hotel in September, and I’m so glad he did. Rita, our host, made us feel at home with her warm hospitality and congenial manner. She has a sweet smile and is super helpful. She’s every man's dream wife. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and we were spoiled with generous, sumptuous breakfasts every day at no extra charge. The hotel is just a stone's throw from the town centre. I’ll definitely stay here again if I return to Ortisei.
