Hotel Ansitz Jakoberhof - Alpine Relax

We took the bus every day except once, when we went to Meran for some Waalwegen. Tip! The younger generation was already helping out at the hotel and reception instead of sitting on their phones, and we were impressed with her. Our room was great, with a stunning mountain view, and both dinner and breakfast were good. Yeah, we like this hotel. Just don’t order a wine that doesn’t go with dinner ;-)

We chose the Half Board option and were really glad we did. The food was great, and the dining staff were super friendly with outstanding service. The family who own and run this place were welcoming, gracious, and helpful with everything we needed, which made the stay memorable for our whole family. It’s a family-owned and operated hotel, and our experience was amazing. We highly recommend it if you’re visiting around Ortisei/St Christina in the Val Gardena region of the Dolomites.

The spa and games room are real advantages, and the rooms were very clean. We spent a week at Ansitz Jakoberhof hotel and had a great time. It sits on a hill with lovely mountain views, and the interior feels both rustic and elegant. Service was good overall. Breakfast could be more varied, especially with more vegetables. The hotel is also quite far from the village. Still, we enjoyed our stay and recommend it to people interested in the Dolomiti area.

Our room was big and cozy, though we wished the lighting could be brighter. The wellness area was small but okay, with a little pool that’s good for kids. The hotel is about 3 km from the center, in a quiet spot with a great view. We stayed in February and had a shuttle to the center every 30 minutes. The food was okay, but you can find better food in South Tyrol. A big downside was the staff, who weren’t very friendly or flexible.
