I love this place. Our host, Cristina Pichler, was warm when we arrived and really attentive throughout. The family-run hotel was spotless, with roomy rooms, comfy beds, nice bathrooms and a balcony. Breakfast was great, and parking was easy. There's a free bus into the town center, though it's an easy walk if you're used to walking. We had a great time here.

Christine gave us maps and plenty of activity suggestions, which was really helpful. Our room had loads of space and storage, a well-sized bathroom, and a beautiful balcony view. It had everything we needed. The center of Ortisei is about a 15-20 minute walk away. We couldn't have asked for more, and I'd definitely recommend staying here. Thanks!

The free bus pass came in handy, although we also enjoyed walking to and from the center of Ortisei. It's uphill on the way there. At Pension Pichler, we had a faultless stay with Christine, a lovely room with two balconies, a comfortable bed, and an excellent breakfast. If we return to the Dolomites, we'd definitely stay again.

It felt like being at home, thanks to the welcoming atmosphere and hospitality. Breakfast was tasty and made with local food. A good spot if you're travelling by public transport.

Christine made us feel welcome at Pension Pichler and took time to share lots of recommendations for the area. We loved the stunning balcony view, and the traditional Austrian-style breakfast was just right before long days of hiking. The bus was easy to use and included. We had an incredible time and I'd highly recommend staying here.
