The industrial setting means there’s nowhere green nearby to walk the dogs, which is the one real drawback. Still, once you see past the building-site look, the rooms are surprisingly spacious and good quality. Reception was very helpful, and our dogs were no trouble to accommodate. A handy overnight stop on the Venice-Brindisi route, with a sweet-filled breakfast and 'handmade' coffee.

We felt very safe here, even with our 4-year-old daughter, and the staff were always kind, welcoming, and available. The rooms were roomy and comfortable, with great Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Everything was spotless, and they made our dog feel very welcome too. The whole city of Ortona seemed pet-friendly: at the supermarket, our dog could sit in our cart in a little grassy spot. We’d happily recommend both the area and this hotel.

Domenico, the owner, was so kind and helpful, and the service was very good. We were two people on a motorcycle trip, and the quiet, clean, spacious room was just right. Breakfast was fantastic, with homemade desserts, and the price felt like great value. Highly recommended.
