A calm, quiet place with a family feel. The staff were professional, especially after dinner.

The staff were kind and courteous, and watching the fishing boats return together was a lovely sight, with a special play of light. I also appreciated their hard work. But those positives couldn't make up for the room and hotel problems. With the sea just three minutes away, a spectacular view and a lot of natural beauty, the hotel has real potential, yet the other issues were so bad we wanted to get out of there. This was meant to be a relaxing night by the sea, and it turned into stress and anxiety, even trying to take a simple shower. The room was old and very dirty. There was pubic hair and other hair, a toilet brush covered in excrement, dust everywhere, dirty mirrors, stained curtains and bedspreads, and pillowcases that looked used. It didn't smell clean. There's no shower tray, and water spread across the floor all the way to the bed, so using the toilet afterward was impossible. The shower mat did nothing to contain it. The sink was clogged and nearly overflowed while I washed; part of its support was broken or missing. Basic maintenance, like clearing the siphon, seemed needed. There was no mini-fridge, safe or air conditioning. The fan wouldn't stay up and had to be leaned against the wall. We couldn't use the pool because its grates were broken and could trap or injure someone's foot. There was still sand in it, despite a cleaning robot being there, perhaps because it hadn't been switched on. The shower had no water. The elevator made noise whenever it ran, and we could hear people snoring in neighboring rooms. There was no soundproofing, and night trains kept us awake. Without air conditioning, keeping the window closed felt suffocating, but with it open the noise was a problem. Many guests have apparently raised recurring issues, and the hotel should try to address them.

Breakfast stood out, generous, high quality and carefully prepared. The hotel has seven floors and sits right on a fine sandy beach, with breathtaking views; beach service and parking are included. Its long history shows, and the rooms have seen improvements and modern furnishings, though they still lack air conditioning.

The pool was kept clean, and the Adriatic, lovely sand and beach bar made for a great seaside stay. Prices were very fair. We visited during the week of August 15th and got a very warm welcome at reception. The property is a bit dated, but clean and tidy. The food was good, with a sweet breakfast and savory choices available on request. Staff were always helpful. I recommend it. Simona and Giuseppe
