The meal and the welcome are what made this place stand out. Dinner was carefully prepared with local ingredients, and the wider family pitched in to make us feel looked after. The room was very simple, but the bed was good and the air conditioning worked. We also enjoyed the short five-minute walk up to a viewpoint with a lovely chapel. This family-run guesthouse feels like a little find on a road trip, and the setting could work beautifully for a small, romantic wedding. It really ought to appear on Google's restaurant list.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with a good range of sweet and savory choices, including options for people with gluten or lactose intolerance. Alberto was warm, helpful, and personable, while still being professional and dedicated. We spent New Year's Eve in this lovely, well-kept place surrounded by greenery and calm. It's only a few kilometers from Albenga/Alassio, a nice spot if you're after some relaxation. We loved the experience and will come back! (The Turin Guys)
