The best part of our stay was the warm welcome from Maurizio and Simonetta. Their care makes the place feel like home, not just somewhere to sleep. Maurizio also shared stories about the path of s. Benedict and his own involvement in the project, giving us a deeper view of the route from someone who lives it all year round. I hope to walk it soon and visit again. The house is small and cozy, with what you need for a good rest and a proper recharge. Fresh mountain air, Orvinio’s easy pace, and a generous, delicious breakfast made it a real gem.

Simonetta came by at 7 on Sunday morning with a breakfast that had everything I could want, and she also took time to help me find a place to stay farther along my journey to Montecassino. I’d arrived the day before from my pilgrimage, and Maurizio showed me the apartment and room even though they had been invited to a friend’s home. That welcome made me feel at home straight away. A wonderful spot in Orvinio, and I’ll definitely book another night on a future trip. Many thanks to Simonetta and Maurizio.

In the center of town, Simonetta and Maurizio’s B&B makes a lovely, relaxing base. The interiors are refined, the price is very good, and the welcome is exceptionally kind. Highly recommended in Orvinio.

We’re planning to come back for the "Cammino di San Benedetto." Simonetta made us feel comfortable straight away, always smiling and ready to help. Breakfast was fantastic, especially the ciambellone, we could’ve eaten loads of it!
