The sea is right there, with a private beach that stays quiet and uncrowded. We loved being able to swim whenever we wanted, and the views from our room were stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. Breakfast was fine, and the staff were warm and professional. The rooms were clean but very basic, and the hotel feels dated. Some renovations would help, and plastic breakfast tables don’t look very fancy. Still, it was a peaceful spot by the water, and my family, including my two-year-old daughter, had a lovely stay.

Falling asleep to the gentle waves and waking up to those views was a real treat. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with a large, excellent bathroom. There’s a beach area and pool at the hotel, with a lifeguard, and the people running it were friendly. We also enjoyed the short walk along the seafront into town. The famous bike path is very close by. We had a really nice stay and would highly recommend it.

The whole place has an old-time atmosphere. Sitting at the bar with its view, I could picture myself in a big hat and sunglasses, sipping a negroni and watching the sun go down. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was nice, and the saltwater pool by the sea was easy to float in. There are comfy beach beds and an impressive indoor pool, though it was empty. Everything was clean, the rooms had been repainted, and everything worked. The beds are hard but comfortable. Dark bedspreads make the rooms feel old-fashioned, and the bathrooms have seen better days. My shower was the smallest I’ve ever seen. There are a few parking spots beside the hotel, but the road is easy to miss and not suitable for a big car. It’s definitely not for everyone, but I’d go back.
