The bathroom was awkward to use, with the bidet too close to the sink. Slippers and shower caps were missing, even though they're essential for using the upstairs bathroom shower, which has no hand shower. I was choosing between this and another lovely property that included breakfast and had a hot tub. I picked this one despite the higher price and no breakfast because it looked more refined and had a small private underground spa with a sensory shower and hot tub. The host was kind and helpful, and even gave us an extra hour to check out. But when we switched on the hot tub before getting in, we saw slimy bubbles. I told the host straight away. He said nobody had mentioned the problem before and that he would look into what caused it. I wasn't satisfied with how this was handled. We paid €200 for one night without breakfast mainly to use the spa, but in the end we didn't use it. I would have expected some considerate gesture, like breakfast at the bar or a discount coupon for a future stay. The experience fell short of what I expected, and we won't return.
