If peace and quiet are what you want, this place has it. You’re surrounded by olive trees and lavender, with a lovely pool and very nice rooms. The service is exceptionally friendly and just perfect. The beautifully renovated place has thoughtful details and a typical Italian style. Just right.

We loved the spacious rooms in this stunning converted masseria. With only a few rooms on site, it was peaceful and often felt as if we had the place to ourselves. We spent three blissful nights in September. We used the location to visit the nearby trullis and Grotta Palazzese restaurant, then hired bikes to ride a local route through two other towns. A big thank you to Pinotta, her partner, and the whole team for making us feel so welcome, and for the beautiful food.

With just five rooms and a villa for rent, the place feels like a hotel with a much more exclusive atmosphere. It’s a lovely choice for relaxing, and I’d warmly recommend it. Breakfast included homemade Italian specialties, and there are plenty of restaurants within driving distance for dinner. The surroundings are naturally beautiful, with fields and trulli houses nearby. We could see the neighbour's horses, hear the rooster in the morning, and watch the stars at night. The property also has a small vegetable garden and pear tree, and the kitchen uses its own planted produce. The mood is both elegant and rural, a rare mix. A kind property manager greeted us and helped with our luggage, then the friendly owners showed us around and told us about the place’s history. The rebuild and renovation are done to very high standards, with attention to tiny details. We admired the arches, architectural stairs, plant irrigation, lighting, pool, and the building’s layout. It was all inspiring.

We came to Ddo to relax, and it was a great choice. The estate is beautiful, carefully maintained, and planned down to the details. The staff were amazing and attentive, and the hosts gave us great recommendations and made us feel welcome. I’d recommend it for a quiet getaway. Just bear in mind it’s outside Cisternino, so having a car is best for getting around.
