Hotel Incanto

The view is gorgeous, and I felt so good here that it was worth five stars to me. The rooms are vintage, though clean, and the staff are very accommodating: ask for something in your room and they get it done. There’s plenty of varied food. The hotel must have had its glory days, I presume. Thank you.

The hotel has stunning views in daylight and after dark, with a full panorama of the area around delightful Ostuni. It’s a great place for peace and relaxation, with a lovely pool. The location is amazing, though getting to Ostuni needs more thought: the walk to the nearest bus stop takes you along the road, which could be dangerous at night, and taxis are limited. A shuttle would be perfect. Ostuni itself is well placed as a base for most of Pugilia. The local people were wonderful and helpful, especially Antonio, our driver, and we loved Ostuni Bistro and every minute of our stay. The staff were lovely and the hotel absolutely spotless, but it could use some updating. Printed visitor information to help the staff was lacking.

The view, pool, and front office staff were the good parts, even though the staff spoke very limited English. The hotel is almost 50 years old and needs renovation. Its website photos are very old and don’t look like the hotel now, and the surroundings are very dirty. This place may suit domestic guests, but not international travelers. Breakfast was the same every day, and you’d be lucky to find something at the buffet. Housekeeping was below standard too.

The staff are very friendly, and the rooms are clean. The food is decent, and the view of Ostuni from the nice location is lovely. Maybe the place needs a little remodeling, but my overall impression was good.
