We meant to stop for just one night in our campervan, but ended up staying four. The Apulian countryside here is beautiful, and the olive groves and cool breeze were a welcome escape from Salento’s scorching heat. Time seems to slow down, with poetic scenery all around. You can lounge by the pool, which fits naturally into its setting, listen to the cicadas, or walk the narrow country lanes and pick a ripe fig from a tree. Cristiano and his wife are wonderful hosts, discreet but always ready to chat and share stories about the area. We stayed in the camper space, and also got to see the charming Lamia, a typical Apulian room, and the Tiny House, which Cristiano built himself, including the olive wood floor. There’s a lovely local stone pool, which we really liked, a panoramic terrace enclosed by windows, a washing machine, and comfortable loungers for taking it slow. Cisternino is a wonderful village, about a 30-minute walk or 10-minute bike ride away. We can’t wait to return! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We’ve come back several times in summer, and each time we’ve felt at home. It’s a relaxing spot surrounded by lovely things, with Cristiano as a discreet yet always available host. The pool is a real treat, and the veranda with its outdoor kitchen is a dream place to unwind. We miss it when we can’t get back. Highly recommended!

There are five campervan pitches and a gîte set among the olive trees, close to Cisternino. The welcome is warm, and guests can use the outdoor kitchen, laundry facilities, hot tub, and showers beneath the trees. It’s a place to step away from everyday expectations and enjoy a timeless break in nature. I highly recommend it.
