Terra Mater - exclusive cottage

We were so glad to have found this property. The hosts showed us around, explained how to use the appliances, and even stocked the fridge with plenty of essentials, which meant a lot while traveling with two small children. They also brought us fresh pastries, sandwiches, and a local cake a couple of times, and everything was delicious. Hospitality 10/10. The countryside olive grove setting was majestic, and the house and courtyard were immaculate and so well kept. We especially loved the separate gazebo with its kitchen and dining area. After the kids went to bed, we spent time there and ended up eating there almost every night. It felt like a place we didn’t want to leave. The attention to detail was remarkable, matching or surpassing other 5-star experiences we’ve had. Property 10/10. Of all the places we stayed during our Italy trip, this was the one we were most sorry to leave. A real gem. We’ve recommended it to friends and family, and can’t wait to return!

Francesco and his wife were professional, warm, and helpful, and we really enjoyed chatting with them. The outdoor area was spacious, impeccably maintained, and furnished in a lovely Apulian style. It felt magical by day and at night. The pool is a gem, and the new, modern gazebo among the olive trees was perfect for a hearty breakfast made to suit guests’ needs. Our room was roomy, clean, well furnished, and had every comfort. A wonderful discovery. Thanks, and we hope to see you again soon!

The pool and neatly kept lawn, with olive trees all around, made the place feel especially relaxing. The villa itself is new, furnished with taste, and in a great spot. Its layout worked really well for us, with the bedrooms in one building and the kitchen in another. Francesco and Daniela gave us such a warm, thoughtful welcome. I’m already hoping to come back!

The Itria Valley is easy to explore from here, and we felt so at home that we’d happily return. The owners were attentive without being intrusive, and each morning they brought us fresh local treats for breakfast. Everything was spotless, including the inviting shared spaces. A lovely place for a few days of real rest, with care and cleanliness that exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended, and well done to the owners!
