Villa Cenci was only a five-minute drive away, which made this a convenient base for the wedding we attended. Carmen was really kind, and we managed to communicate easily with translation despite the language gap. She welcomed us into her home for breakfast and served homemade baked goods. The traditional Trulli was cozy and comfortable, though small as expected. We were glad it had air conditioning during the very hot summer, plus a mini fridge. The bathroom and shower were clean, but there was sometimes a bit of a sewage smell.

Set among centuries-old olive trees, the comfortable trullo made a lovely base for a relaxing weekend as a couple and exploring the Itria Valley. The dogs and cats were friendly, and the owner was warm and helpful. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The owner was wonderful, and breakfast served at the table in her trullo was excellent. She kept us company while we ate, too. The room was small but had everything we needed, and stayed cool without air conditioning. We found the place peaceful, tucked into greenery and away from the crowds, but still well connected. Directions made it easy to find. We got to Torre Guaceto nature reserve in about 30 minutes, then spent the evening in Ostuni. Locorotondo and Fasano are close by as well. It’s a charming spot for anyone wanting to experience the trulli, relax, and stay within a few kilometers of beautiful places. Great price, lovely setting, excellent breakfast and staff. I’ll definitely return.
