The walk down to the beach through the pine forest was lovely, and at night we could hear only the sea. We stayed for two nights in mid-September with our tent and had the place to ourselves. It was very peaceful, and the hosts were so friendly. We also really enjoyed their delicious wine.
I turned up spontaneously with my tent for one night and loved the stay. The owners were lovely and very helpful, and they offered their own vegetables. There’s a bar, and the toilets and showers were clean. Our pitch beneath the pine trees felt cosy. A five-minute walk through the forest takes you to a lovely little beach where it’s often windy and you can watch the kitesurfers. I’d like to come back and stay longer.
The beach is great, and after a short walk you can pick the spot you like best. The owners at this nice campsite were friendly, always smiling, and even offered us fresh fruit for free. Leave them a tip.
The local organic vegetables were great, and communication was easy. The facilities are basic but clean. To reach the sea, you walk through the forest and dunes, about 500m, so bring a bike. There are two nearby beaches where you can stay on the sand; the rest is rocky. The grocery store is in a nearby village, around 2km away, or you can order bread from the owner. A pleasant stay at the agriturismo, recommended!
We had the wild beach to ourselves, and it was an easy walk there through a really pretty forest. We loved our stay and would be happy to come back for longer if we get the chance.
