Our favorite beach was only a 10-minute drive away, and Otranto was about a 20-minute walk. We came back in the Piaggio Ape, which was a real highlight. We spent two lovely weeks here and felt at home right away. The family who runs the place is warm and welcoming, and you can feel the care they put into things. We stayed in the small, comfortably furnished house, separated by a gate that gave us plenty of privacy. The property is well kept, including the garden and pool. Breakfast was fresh, lovingly prepared, and typically Italian. We also had everything we needed to cook in the little kitchen, and could politely ask if anything was missing. We bought small things like toilet paper and laundry detergent ourselves, which was no problem for us. Having our own private barbecue area was especially nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and will definitely come back, with a smile in our hearts.

We first stayed in a terraced house years ago, and this time chose a villa with a veranda, which we liked better. Both were very well cared for and spotlessly clean. There’s plenty of convenient parking inside the property. Breakfast was fantastic, served beautifully under the porch overlooking the pool. Everything was fresh, including the bread, and the freshly baked cakes and pasticciottil were a real treat. The family is kind and discreet, and the prices are truly fair. The setting is a peaceful oasis in the Otranto countryside, with tall palms, Mediterranean plants and flowers. It’s also well placed for the historic center, the local beaches, and exploring Salento. The lovely infinity pool has a soft grass lawn around it.

Wonderful! We were two couples staying in two lovely standard cottages side by side, and we were very happy there. The rooms smelled clean as soon as we arrived and had every comfort. Compliments to Mr. Leo and his very capable wife, who treated us to her delicious breakfast cakes and pasticciotti. We’ll be back next year. This place deserves more than a 10. We had a pretty good nine-day stay, and the large pool and good breakfast with fresh pastries every day were definite positives. Still, the price felt high for what was included. Our small apartment-style house was rather dated, especially the bathroom, and daily housekeeping was only provided in the fully renovated house facing the pool. Clean towels were left outside on an unhygienic table, and sheets were left there too, so we had to make our own bed. There were just two rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom. When we ran out after a few days and asked about it, we were told only the initial supply was provided. The amenities included for the price were therefore virtually nonexistent.

We had a great welcome and service at this excellent property. It’s perfectly located for a quiet stay while still being close to the beautiful center of Otranto. Gabriella’s desserts deserve a mention, especially the pasticciotto, which was Nobel-quality. Highly recommended. We’ll be back soon, and thanks for everything.
